I have a MTD snow blower and had trouble shutting it off with key. The key would turn but would not shut off. Now it will not start. There is one pin attached to a single blue wire. can I replace this with a toggle switch or do I need to buy another ignition cylinder?
Paul
Hi Frank, Look at the back of the switch. If it has two wires then you can change it out for a toggle. If there are more than two wires then you’ll have to replace it with the original switch.
