The Best Snow Shovel, Ice Scraper and Gas Can To Compliment Your New Snow Blower

You just purchased a new snow blower but did you get a new gas can! And fresh gas? A new, updated gas can will make it easier to fill the gas tank on your new snow blower. A new gas can is also sealed so the gas doesn’t “bleed” off the vapors and make your snow blower hard to start.

 Best Gas Can: No-Spill 1405 2-1/2-Gallon Poly Gas Can (CARB Compliant). This gas can pours easily and quickly. I always suggest not keeping more than a month’s worth of fuel on hand so the 2 1/2 gallon capacity is just the right size. There is a 5-gallon size available.

 Fuel Stabilizer/Treatment I Use. Sea Foam. When I go buy my gas I put 2 tablespoons ( 1 ounce) per gallon right in the storage can. That way all my fuel is treated and I don’t do anything else when I put the item into storage. Note: You can buy SeaFoam at most hardware, auto, farm and WalMart stores

I still have them and use them every year. They get left outside most of the year and still look like new. You can roll the snow in front of you like a snow plow when pushing 2-4 inches.

 Best Ice Scraper: Myself I have the Bully Tools 92200 Heavy Duty Sidewalk and Ice Scraper with Long Steel Handle and I use it for a lot more than chipping ice. It’s a great tool that will last you forever. I’ve used it to remove linoleum, glued carpet, roof shingles and even as a pry bar when I was removing railroad tie landscape timbers. The Razorback Ice Scraper  is also a great choice. A lot of people like the wood handle.
