  • 18″ Clearing Width
  • Up to 30′ Throw Distance*
  • Adjustable Chute and Deflector
  • Compact Storage
  • 2-Year Full Warranty

Pros:

The 1800 Power Curve is a good alternative to a single-stage gas engine snow thrower.  It is lightweight and throws snow better than any other electric.

I recommend this snowblower if you usually get less than 6 inches of snow or you have a small area to clean.  My idea of a small area is a one car drive less than 40 feet long, a few steps and some sidewalk.

It really works well for cleaning off decks and patios.

Cons:

It’s electric and you have to drag a cord with you.  I recommend no more than 100 feet of 14 gauge cord.

It doesn’t throw snow as far as a two-stage unit.  Like any single stage snowthrower if you get a lot of snows with no melting you may have some large stacks of snow by your driveway by the end of the season.

If you buy a Toro 1800 Power Curve come back here later and leave a comment on how well you like it.
