UPDATE: Craftsman Professional Snowthrowers with Tecumseh Motors
I told you earlier that the 2007 models of the Craftsman Professional snow throwers with the Tecumseh motor may not be available for very long and it looks like they are getting to the end. I tried ordering a Model 88045 last week for a customer and it was not available at that time. I see now that it is back up on the Sears website but who knows for how long.
As I mentioned in the review of the 2008 models they are now using a Briggs & Stratton motors so if you really want one with a Tecumseh I strongly suggest you get one ordered now. You can click on the links below, order it and pick it up at your local Sears store.
These two snow throwers are the heaviest and largest walk behind models available today. They are capable of handling any snow you may get this year. They are too big and expensive for most people, but if you need the biggest and baddest these are the ones. If you want to read a review of each machine follow the links in the right sidebar to the articles.
Here are the current links to purchase the machines
Craftsman Professional 13 hp 45 in. 4-Cycle Tecumseh 2-stage Snowthrower
Craftsman Professional 12 hp 33 in. 4-Cycle Tecumseh 2-Stage Snowthrower Model 88033
(If the links stop working it means Sears has run out of these models)
You can also order it online, and have your local Sears store deliver it for a normal delivery fee.
Don’t forget, the optional 5 year $199 protection plan for these snowblowers is a good value. Basically everything except tune-ups are covered for a whole 5 years.
