Every manufacture and retailer has one piece of junk and this is Sears.  This single stage snowthrower is identical to the Craftsman model 88140 snowthrower and is under powered, built too cheaply, and too many plastic parts.   The engine is simply a 4 hp lawn mower engine.  The chute falls off or breaks easily.  It doesn’t throw snow well.  Don’t waste your money on this machine.  If you buy one of these machines and it breaks don’t complain to me………..I told you it was a poor choice.

If you are looking for a small single stage snow thrower consider the Sears model Craftsman 123cc 4 cycle Single Stage Snow Thrower , Toro 1800 electric or a Powercurve.  For the money these machines offer much more for your money.
